Afterwards, he received an advanced degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law—equipping him with the skills to navigate complex financial and legal matters with precision.
Over the years, Mr. Dowels has cultivated varied and extensive experience across numerous practice areas, including Business, Employment, Taxation, Construction, Contracts, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, as well as Wills and Trusts.

Mr. Dowels is also an active member of the Gamma Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he proudly upholds the fraternity’s principles of scholarship, service, and leadership. He and his wife Christen spend their free-time watching sports, traveling, and enjoying family and friends.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University, followed by an Executive Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Christen's auditing experience allows her to develop creative metrics that measure return on investment (ROI) where traditional methods fall short. Her expertise in business development and investment-driven models of operations means she is skilled at using ROI and outcome measurements to build credibility and drive an organization’s mission forward.
Christen provides operational and administrative support to Dowels Law Firm. She works diligently to execute the firm’s strategic vision, drive profitability, and ensure all non-legal business operations run efficiently and effectively. She brings a strong background in professional services management, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of business development to ensure clients are well served.
Christen enjoys spending time with her husband, Antonio, and family, especially their 10 nieces and nephews. She loves serving in church and in the community with the Junior League of Tampa. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she and her husband love to travel, watch football, and discover unique restaurants; all while trying to become a proficient plant lady without causing too many plants to suffer.
